Equipment Available for Rent
Litter / Lime Spreader
Our spreader has the ability to spread chicken litter or lime to your land. Benefits of liming and fertilization will greatly improve forage production and soil quality.
Benefits of applying land supplements:
Poultry litter provides nitrogen (N) for forage growth, phosphorus (P) for root development, and potassium (K) for stress tolerance and stand persistence. The organic material feeds soil microbes, improving soil structure, aggregation, moisture retention, and overall biological activity. Based on soil test results, the recommended application of lime brings soil pH into the optimal range (usually 6.0–7.0), allowing plants to thrive. At proper pH, nutrients—especially phosphorus—become more available and usable by forage plants. Microbial activity increases in neutral pH soils, improving nutrient cycling and soil resilience.
