River Trash Trap

The Saline River and the streams that flow into the river have an abundance of stormwater-driven litter that washes downstream.

 

Thanks to a grant to our district from the Arkansas Department of Agriculture - Natural Resources Division, we will be able to add a trash trap to a stream in our county.

 

With the purchase and installation of the river trash trap, we will be able to collect approximately 16 pounds of trash every 6 weeks, improving and cleaning our waterways of pollution.
