Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Field days are designed for landowners and producers interested in practical conservation solutions. At our upcoming field day, attendees will observe a no-till drill demonstration that highlights soil health improvement, erosion control, and pasture and crop establishment benefits. Fur bearer trapping training will also be provided, focusing on responsible wildlife damage management to protect agricultural land, timber, roads, and drainage systems. Participants will gain information on conservation practices and resources available through their local conservation district and NRCS. Additional field day activities will include a Locally Led Workgroup to be held during the event, providing landowners and producers an opportunity to share input through a brief survey regarding their concerns, needs, and experiences related to natural resources within the county. NRCS staff will be available to discuss specific concerns, answer questions, and provide information on available conservation programs and technical assistance.
